drove the car last night got gas ( 91 octane is mandatory on the car) everything was fine, i start the car to go to work this morning and i have a CEL and the TCS light is on. has anybody seen this before. i thought it might be the gas cap, but it didnt go away when i took it off and tightened it.
im gonna get the code read tonight or tomorrow, just wondering if anyone has come across this on an '00 3.2 TL.

Normally when the CEL + TCS is triggered by the gas cap, it takes about 20-30 starts of your car to clear itself.
Or you can disconnect the battery to clear it.
If the code comes back, then its not the gas cap :D

Could be something as simple as that. I have read the EGR valve is a common suspect on these TL's.
On the other hand, it could be as major as your transmission experiencing issues. (Tranny's were weak on these models)
Really, you need to get a scan done. I have one if you are in the NW area - feel free to PM.
