I pilfered most of the specs from Wikipedia, but they are accurate for this particular computer. This is not the model with the backlit keyboard - only the 2.4 GHz Alu MB came with it, not the 2.0. I'm the second owner, and this machine has been babied since the day it was purchased. I'm pretty sure the original owner never even took it out of his house.
Since I bought it, I've had it covered with a hardshell black case (very much like the Speck see-through satin covers, only opaque) for the LCD lid and the bottom case, and the top plate around the keyboard, as well as the surface of the trackpad, have carefully-applied adhesive vinyl coverings. The keyboard itself has always been covered with a black silicone overlay, which also makes keystrokes nice and quiet, but primarily is nice because none of the keys have the smoothness that develops on them with repeated use.
Seriously, this thing is in ridiculously good shape. If there are scratches on the exterior, I haven't seen them. The only conceivable place that isn't perfect is maybe around the USB ports and the MagSafe port where I might have fumbled around trying to get something in. Other than that, seriously pristine. The screen doesn't have any scratches - I don't know, it might have some slight swirling; you know, those tiny little scratches that accumulate on anything, but that's about it.
You could pull off the adhesive vinyl to take a look underneath and make sure I'm telling the truth if you wanted, but then you'd have to replace it. I'd say this machine is easily a 9.5/10.
Comes with the original box, restore CDs, manuals, cleaning cloth, etc, as well as a retail copy of OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. The MagSafe power adapter included is not OEM, it is aftermarket. It's a 45W unit and works just fine. My cats ate through the cord on the original. Thanks, guys. Both the wall wart and the extension cable attachment are included.
$800, pretty firm. I think it's more than fair considering the shape the machine is in, as well as the stuff that comes with it! Only considering selling it because I'd like to get a new 13" MacBook Pro.
