Saving favorite threads

Is there a way to make a feature that'd save threads within one's user account for future visits.

My method is to post in the thread with a smily face and then when I get off work, search my own user name to find the thread again

But I mean sometimes there're interesting threads in the past years that you just want to reminisce about, but you just can't seem to hit the keywords in searches to find them again. Then you just give up and life goes on, etc... (not sure if that made sense :D )
