Hi beyond. I've recently taken up taking photos and I dunno why, but I randomly get these black dots. http://www.flickr.com/photos/kaypang/5040950226/sizes/m/in/photostream/ Anyone know why this would occur?

Looks like dust on your sensor.

First I would try use a blower, something like this:

http://www.thecamerastore.com/products/camera-care/sensor-care/giottos-rocket-air-cleaning-system

Take off the lens, lock the mirror up (If possible), hold the camera with the lens mount facing the ground and blow air inside.

If that doesn't work, you can try something like the Arctic Butterfly and physically clean your sensor.

To test if there is still dust on your sensor shoot a light background at a small aperture - that will make any dust remaining easiest to see.

holy shit, stop taking your lens off while you're mowing the lawn dude..

But yes, like Mitsu said - bulb blower + mirror lockup + face the camera to the floor should fix your issue
