Halloween and Poker!!!

Okay, I'm having another Halloween/Poker party again this year. We've had a good half a dozen, or more, beyonders attend my poker parties and hope to have you all again and new ones.

It's a Friday night. $40 freezeout holdem tourney, plus cash games of DC and Holdem once tables open up.

When: Fri Oct 29. 7:30 Start
Where: Canyon Meadows Casino (address to be pm'ed)
Format: T10,000 $40 Freezeout. No rebuys, no antes
Blinds: 30 minute blinds.
33 Seats available. Top 5 paid, 100% pay back (no rake)

Cash tables of .25/.50 for Hold'Em and DC after tables open up.

Also trying to convince my wife to come with me, but she is uncomfortable not knowing anyone there and all that nonsense.

Yeah I know how she feels. There's other girls that show up as well, so she won't be alone. Does she play though? if not, it can be a little boring just watching people play poker.
It's a lot easier for me if you sign up with your own name. I can put you down as my guest, but I like to keep a couple of my own seats for last minute guests and/or VIP's (close friends that want to come) Also, signing up yourself, you can go in and cancel anytime. If I do it, you have to get a hold of me to take your name off the list, and if I'm not around then it doesn't get a chance to get filled. Empty seats get filled fast.

Well she's more than welcome to then. There's almost always a few new ones, and its a very laid back atmosphere at the tables. Project 240 and his girlfriend came for the first time and they said they enjoyed it and felt pretty comfortable. (Hoping he sees this and they can make this one as well).
It also takes place in the basement "poker room" and everyone comes in through the garage, so its not like you come tromping through someones private living room, etc. There's so many people, that you can blend in without feeling like a stranger.
But I understand the nervousness. :)

I'm going to cap it at 40 players. Might be a little squished for the first bit, but I'm sure most people won't mind a bigger prize pool.
