I don't play a lot of poker, but I do play occasionally and I also do a lot of game nights (settlers, risk, whatever) and I've been toying with the idea of a games table. What it really comes down to is lack of space...I have a 900ft^2 condo, with a storage locker. As much as I'd like to have a full table with chairs, it just isn't going to work.
So what I have is my kitchen table, which is a nice one from Sears:

Has anybody tried one? Do they stay in place reasonably well? I realize you purists would want something fancy but I just don't have the room to store a table and a bunch of folding chairs.
