Trying to find somewhere to park fairly close to sait. I would happily walk like 5 minutes, but everywhere I find has this 2 hour parking. Would they know if you were there for like 8 hours?
or can anyone pm a better place to park?

no chance of not getting a ticket if you're in a 2 hour for 8 hours. You also wont know you got a ticket until a week later when you get a nice letter in the mail billing for $75, $45 if you pay right away.
what I used to do was move it every 2 hours, but that was a pain, and it was near the Uni not SAIT.
good luck

Approx 10 blocks NE from 10st and 16ave corner there is free parking for the entire day.
Leave ur house earlier one day and drive around until u find a place thats got free parking.

No parking in Alleys anywhere in the city. Doesn't matter if there is a sign or not.
the parking authority won't ticket you unless there is a complaint, but I'm sure the residents near SAIT are pretty quick to dial . . .

Cruise the back alleys close to SAIT until you find one with a shitty open backyard, offer the people to pay monthly for parking.
When I lived 2 blocks from SAIT, that's what we did, there was 8 people from our class parking in our backyard.
