Searched the forum with no results.

Looking to get some 'fryer ready' beef tallow, not wanting to have to 'render' anything myself, just want a brick of solid fat to cook some fries in.

Specialty shop? Butcher? Can someone point me in the right direction ...... is it worth the trouble to have some tasty, fat-laden fries?

Edit **Duck fat will also do the trick*

Thanks!

I don't have any leads but if you ever find any, please let me know because I've been dying to try it myself.

It is so worth it but beef tallow is a better flavor!!! I would be interested to know if it's sold. My father makes tallow from prime rib fat when he of I run out.
