Cancer at 40...what a shame.
Nonetheless her CDs will be appearing soon with new releases of her hits and compilation....same thing happened with Roman and Leslie...

??? thats odd, she started out singing then got into acting.

unlike some other ppl, like andy lau who started acting then started singing.

Yea, nowadays with new faces, they start out acting and eventually try singing as well. It's more about the looks and style than the skill now, which is a shame.

That's too bad, I use to be really into HK entertainment but now I'm just confused with all the newbies.

I remember I went to an Anita Mui concert in Calgary when I was 6 yrs old. That must've been about 1987 or so...and at that time the "Grasshoppers" were her backup dancers.

It is a tragic loss :( She was so talented.
