Adaptive bi-Xenon (stock). I thought having headlights that turn with the wheels was a bit gimicky at first, but now I'm used to them, they're pretty darned cool. Probably stupid expensive if/when they go wrong though.

You're being redundant.

Stupid question, what's the different between HID and xenon? I thought they are the same thing.

I have stock HID low and halogen high.

Fixed bi-xenon and halogen fog/DRL.

I'm quite amazed at the difference in light output between my Mom's halogen lights on the newer CRV and my bi-xenons.

I was first with gonna go with single beam but I got the xenons for only $10 more so i figure it was worth it since the xenons are better quality and last longer (2500hrs approx).

My stock daytime halogens are so weak I really only use them when its super sunny out. Theyre tiny lights under the signal lights.

I lowered the height on my xenon high beams so I can use them as my reg daytime low beams on non sunny days. And keep the HIDs as my main nighttime lights.

I believe they are called "city light". Not sure how old your car is, but I believe most of the newer car have them aside from DRL.

Halogen Projectors - Low

Halogen Relex - High

I am still debating if I want to install the DDM Tuning Slim Ballast HIDs on my projectors...

Any thoughts?

Um, Xenon and HID are the same thing.

Edit: HID bulbs are filled with Xenon gas.

lol... HID & Xenon..

TL Retrofitted Bi-Xenon projectors with clear lenses in halogen housings, 6000 K - 2002 Civic Si Coupe.

Stock 300ZX. Looks dumb with HIDs IMO. Keepin' it clean.

Edit: I don't see a point of this thread either, but copynpaste has a tendency to start useless threads anyways, LOL. :D

HIDs when installed and aimed properly are extremely noticeable in terms of actual usefulness.

I have a question. Should I get a harness for my HID kit? Cause its running off the stock wires now and heard that 55W HIDs can melt them.

That's what I was thinking too. The stock projectors with a 35W HID setup is very popular with Mazda 3s. If i replace the bulbs and adjust accordingly, I am not supposed to have any flare-ups.

I WILL aim them though. My friend put HID projectors in his Cobalt SS, but has them aimed the cutoff to the top of street signs.... Makes me cry every time I see him...

Someone correct me if I'm wrong:

HID kits are supposed to have a ballast and harness.

Factory plug > ballast > ballast wires > bulb.

That isn't the kind of harness he means. The harness being referred to eliminates the use of the OEM light wiring to power the ballasts, which may cause damage to the wiring as it may not be designed to handle the additional load. The OEM light plug would be used to power a relay, with a separate feed for the ballasts coming straight from the battery.

halogen high beam and projector HID 4300k low beam.

Have you guys tried cleaning the inside of the projector lens and headlight glass? 20 years of crap will significantly reduce your light output...
