Spotted these at work, and Maserati on Macloud trail. I could hear it a long time before I spotted it. This thing was as loud if not louder than most ferrari's and lambo's I've seen.

they must have changed the exhaust on the mas. normally they are pretty quiet which sucks

Maybe this one was crazy loud. I could hear it with my windows closed and it ends up it was a good ten or more cars ahead. I pulled up, windows down and it was simply beastly sounding.

The Maserati has a 'sport' mode which opens some valves in the exhaust and can make it quite loud.

Let me re-iterate that the word badass in this case was only to describe the Maserati. The panemerra is ugly as sin. Just thought it was a good spot since there was an actual nice porsche in the pic with it hehe.
