Just checking out good old kijiji when i stumbled on this...not to many 97's left. Sad to see it in this state.

that car has been around, pretty cool to see it around still.

I believe it was a Silent-Rage car?

I thought i looked salvageable until i saw the interior... It was originally purchased and modified by a female model who happens to be the sister of a friend of mine.

man to think that was the style at some point..crazy. If it was more around 5-6k i would buy it and try and return it to its formal glory. wouldn't be to hard to find a new oem interior...i don't really think you could save whats in there.

why would you clear coat your dash? i cant imagine the glare it would give of lol

That would be a waste of money trying to save it.

You'd need parts/paint totaling way over $5000. The car isn't worth $15, 000 after its saved.

Went to school with her, she dissapeared in grade 8 to become a millionaire. Funny that she used the money to buy an Integra.
Isn't she one of the biggest models in the world right now?

2002 called, they want their car back. I sty buy it and stick it in a barn and pull in out in another 20 years and have a laugh, again.

Well, if you wait long enough, eventually this style of car modification will come back into vogue and you can sell it for a fortune.

We'll just have to go through the Vannin', bosozoku and 80s "high-tech TURBO" modification styles again before we get there.

Personally, as soon as the latter appears I'm going to buy a Starion and apply the biggest widebody kit I can find to it. The car will be two lanes wide and feature 455-width front tires. It will have a Cd of 18.

:werd: , this car has also had an engine replacement done to it due to the original being blown iirc maybe just the head? dont remember exactly, in anycase i was working at the shop at the time that it got done at, it looks worse than it did back then which was about 5-6 years ago.

It still looks 10 times better than a lot of the Civics/Integras rolling around in Calgary IMO :dunno:

I agree with you but I wouldn't hold your breath waiting for the ricer cars to come back into style. Bring on the pimp 1970's era vans though!! I dont even mind a clean 85-93 5.0L Mustang with a 4" cowl hood, dech rear wing and weld draglite wheels (1990's)

They can keep the ricers, mini-trucks, donks and diesel HD trucks.

The only genre of cars that never goes away (or out of style) are vintage muscle cars...and thank god for that.

Too much work to bring back! Especially if the engine's VIN won't match the car.

Sad to see such an iconic car (for me, at least) fall prey to rice.

ya man i don't no there are always gonna be those people that think it is nothing more than a regular integra, and maybe it is....but in my mind one of the all time great fwd cars. I wouldn't save it to turn around and make a profit, but rather to save a car that has the same significance to me as a muscle to others.
