I'm posting this up for a buddy;
My friend got his class 7 on September 10, 2009. And he is born on January 26th, 1995. He was wondering if he was able to get it earlier than September 10, 2011. Also that a few friends were saying that it is possible and he just wanted to double check.
TIA!

yea i think you only need 1 year of having a class 7 to apply for your 5 so he should be able to get it after his bday jan 26 2011.
or maybe its 2 years of class 7, i dont really recall at which point it would be sept 10 2011
but im pretty sure its onl 1 year

-Must hold class 7 for minimum 1 year, minimum age for a class 5 is 16.
He will be eligible as of January 26, unless the rules have changed

The rule is that you must be at least 16 years of age and have held a valid and subsisting class 7 licence for at least one year suspension free.
