interesting article, sounds like she has changed a little more. Good for her, I hope she runs in 2012. I found her before a little unorthodox and almost hick-like, but now she's found her place and she genuinely wants to help the United States. Is she lacking in skills that other Presidents had? absolutely. But she's motivating and she wants the best for her country.

another excellent article on her/the economy etc

People like you are the reason the Founding Fathers feared for the success of the Republic.
Sarah Palin is an idiot and a scourge to politics, her followers are even worse.

For insight on why to hate her has a person as much as any rational person should hate her policies (I've tried to separate the two, but it just cannot be done), there was a fine article written about her and her people's general douchebaggery:
http://www.vanityfair.com/politics/features/2010/10/sarah-palin-201010
Prayer Shield Activate! (Its 8 pages, but its worth the read).

Early in the 2008 campaign, when John McCain’s aides discovered that Alaska-size gaps existed in Palin’s general knowledge (among those previously unreported: she had no idea who Margaret Thatcher was), they from time to time would give her some books to read in hopes of improving the candidate’s learning curve. On one such occasion, Palin accepted the books, set them aside, and for the next 25 minutes was held rapt by one of her three BlackBerrys.

Eventually, an aide asked, “What are you working on?”

“I’m reading these great e-mails,” she said, “from the prayer warriors.”

And another one on the Tea Partiers at a Palin/Rand Paul rally:

This is why sometimes a dictatorship is better than democracy.

hey I never said I liked Palin, I'm just quoting articles on the facts about her - she's changed how she speaks and her interactions with the public. Personally, she has no foreign policy experience at all so I'd never vote for her. Interesting articles nonetheless, breaks down perceptions of her that the media has.

This is an owning right? You forgot to logout? Cause seriously any interest in this bitch beyond how she looks naked is crazy imo.

Why do you hope she runs if you wouldnt vote for her?

She honestly scares me. Not because she is a hardcore yahoo American, but that her views consistently make you want to . The worst part is that she can come so close to actually running an otherwise great country.

Because the Democrats would be a sure shot for the win, again

If politics is the art of saying nothing, then Ms. Palin should do fine in the years ahead. Her speeches these days are laden with catchy lines that are easy to remember and will resonate at many an American dinner table, but are also extremely thin on specifics and logic. While saying the country has to slay the deficit, for instance, she didn’t begin to outline what she would cut while not raising taxes.

No brains, all pep talk.

Who cares? She should run Fox and be done with it.

I will agree with this: She's different, and energetic. And that's a refreshing change in politics.

On the flip side, she's literally not intelligent at all, has little more than a thin veil of an understanding of politics and policy, would more try to be your friend than a president, and would be the laughing stock of the international community.

So in short: No. She can get as much guidance as she can, and will never be president material.

Ew. Christine O'Donnell is, in my opinion, worse than Palin. It's weird that she's been busted for exaggerating her education (on more than one occasion) and people STILL support her.

Holy fucking :nut:

There is one basic truth in the world about people, and that is THEY DON'T CHANGE at their Core.

And basic intelligence is fixed.... so there is no hope for her.

I love topics like this, where 99% of people think someone is dumb as hell and then theres always another person or 2 who stick up for them..

Hrmm.. which group would I lean toward siding with....? Lets just say I won't be throwing on my camo anytime soon.
