New Heights Learning Services is a Calgary school for children with Autism. They are in a contest to win some free playground equipment. They could sure use it.
A number of schools (mostly U.S.) are in the competition, and the winners are based on the number of votes received.

Calgary, AB
The autistic children we serve don't automatically learn from the world around them as a typical child would. They need to be taught and encouraged, but in order for this to work, the child needs to be motivated to learn. Being able to encourage these kids to use and build their play skills and imaginative abilities would help to improve the quality of life for 40 autistic students!

All you have to do is vote for New Heights. No cost involved.

Side note - playgrounds sure are weak these days. I remember when they had zip lines, tire swings, huge slides, etc. and were equally as fun as they were unsafe haha. Now you just get a platform, a small slide, and maybe some monkey bars.
