Very nice HP Pavilion DV2Z for sale:

Couldn't get what I wanted in Canada so I imported it from Australia (E-Bay purchase). The original specifications are >here< (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01822796&tmp_task=prodinfoCategory&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=au&lang=en&product=4005030)

I E-bayed:

-Broadcom Wireless 802.11n mini-pcie card
-Gobi 1000 WWAN card (HP OEM un2400)
-Antenna Kit for the WWAN (HP OEM)
-Bluetooth module (HP OEM)
-4GB Kingston HP equivalent SODIMM
-HP USB TV-Tuner >specs here< (http://www.shopping.hp.com/product/computer/categories/tv_accessories/1/accessories/KS523AA%2523ABA)
-USB enclosure for slimline optical drives

The USB enclosure has an HP OEM Blu-Ray drive I installed into it.

Once I had recieved all of the parts and pieces I also picked up an Intel X25-M 80GB G2 SSD (I have 2 of them now and love 'em but only 1 goes with this laptop).

I did all of the upgrades in one fell swoop, very nice little notebook to work on I should say as well.

Comes with everything in the following photo, not pictured though is a nice black leather Targus case, but it does come with the case. I also have to original HP shipping carton if you really want it.

The original HDD is in a static bag and has the Vista 32 bit factory intallation on it. I think I made the back up disks as well and will check at home this weekend to find them, so if you really wanted to you could install it on the SSD but it comes with Windows 7 Pro 64 bit and with TRIM support there is really no need to cripple yourself.

This unit isn't much bigger than my wife's ASUS netbook but frankly there is simply no comparison, I play WoW on this thing with the ATI 3410 graphics and it has served me well.

I didn't use the machine at all prior to doing the upgrades so I can't really offer any comparison, however, this unit for using an Athlon Neo dual core is very surprising, if I remove the password from my account, I'm surfing the net 20-25 seconds after a cold boot (using WiFi/LAN if I use the WWAN it's a little while longer as the Connection Manager loads the Gobi FW and initializes the card).

The SIM slot is in the battery compartment, pop in a SIM with a data plan and create a custom profile for your carrier with the AP info and you are up and running lickety split with no nasty dongles for WWAN access. The signal strength in the picture was taken in a basement approximately 5km from the nearest cell tower, The screengrab at the bottom was taken with the Device Manager popped open so you can see the hardware upgrades installed.

Looking for a $1100

I can show it working. Preferably I come to you PM for arrangements if interested.
