I am interested in a position they have posted and was wondering if someone can tell me about their hiring process and any other bits on information that can be helpful to me getting the job.

I have heard a lot of good things about Encana so I would really like to give it my best shot at this position.

Any help would be appreciated.

Are you applying for an IT job?

Are you a new grad or someone with experience? New grads most likely have a rotation program.

I have 2+ years of experience...still an EIT.

The position I am looking at is pretty specific though.

Most large companies hire new grads from their intern/co-op/summer students first. You won't see any new grad positions in this economy. I have friends working there now that were past interns and that's pretty much the consensus.

Looks like our job postings for 2011 summer students closed on Sept 30, and the 2010 students just left

I would understand if OP was asking about how awesome and successful you have to be to buy a brand new X5... but what does that have to do with Encana?

Nevermind, InRich actually used to work for CALcana, not Encana. So he wouldn't be able to help in this matter.

Is it for a Facility Engineer, a Reservoir/Development Engineer, or a Completions Engineer? If so, I might be able to help.

No it's for a GIS Technitian. I am a Geomatics Engineer.

I am also interested in other engineering jobs if available
