View Full Version : Cycosis' F1 Wall Art (I'm not paying $200 + shipping) :)

Well after a little experimentation and alot of saw dust, heres the finished product. One F1 Nurburgring for the wall. :)

Im pretty happy with the results, I still need to do some small patch sanding once the paint dries (thats why its looks splotchy/shiny on the wall).

Let me know what you think!

If anyone is interested in one, shoot me a pm. Please include what track you would like. Pretty much any track is possible, except maybe the big Nurburgring. Already have requests for Montreal GP, Top Gear Test Track, Suzuka, Monza, etc.

Price will be $100 based on what members have suggested for a track that would fit in a 4 foot x 2 foot section of particle board. Tracks such as Sepang need to be bigger so there might be a small price differential. Earliest I could have some done is early November due to school. I'll be driving to Calgary for the weekend of the 12th so we could setup a meet for everyone to get their tracks.

A good afternoon. It'll probably take me about 3-4 hours for each piece as I gotta drive to get supplies, trace it out, cut it out, sand, tape it, then paint.

Stay tuned, i'll be making a suzuka Friday or Saturday. Got an exam that I need to study for for the rest of the week :thumbsdow

If you post a set price I am almost positive you will have no trouble selling them to many on here. I'd even grab one if I had an idea as to what you'd expect for one.

If can offer one piece of advice, it's don't take on more work than you can handle. You would end up like riceeater and that would be sad. We all want to see you succeed here.

Thx, I appreciate it. Like I've said, my school is my priority and the earliest I could possibly get SOME done is mid November, and thats for the first few who PM'd me. I've had alot of positive response so far and I will try to figure out a fair way for organizing this once my upcoming midterm is done thursday afternoon. Tracks will be completed in the order of who has responded to me first and I'll keep an updated list in the thread.

Thx again guys.

I have about 5 helmets and 5 posters waiting for me. I had to stop accepting projects because people kept sending me helmets etc. Take on too much work you'll not be able to do it all in time people will get mad :(
