Someone is about to get a great project!!
Vehicle Details
Year : 1993
Make and Model : Honda Accord EXR - Wagon (CB9)
Auto or Manual? : 5 speed
Odometer Reading : 260,000 kms
Location of Vehicle : Calgary
Description :
The Good:
When this engine was first built in 2007 the h22a had less 70,000 km s on it. the second owner drove less than 10,000kms on the drive train. Garrett Turbo, Jason Lange built manifold, intercooler painted black to help the sleeper look. The swap into the wagon came after I purchased the damaged 91 accord and the original creator Cressida_pimpin help an incredible amount transfering this drivetrain into the wagon. Currently running a ACT sprung street clutch, will include the ACT unsprung strip clutch and centering tool. Street clutch is easier for daily driving, smoother take up. New Autometer Boost and oil pressure gauge , walbro 255 fuel pump, 17" ADR rims, brand new oem hood (not installed), winter tires on steelies come with the sale. Car pulls very strong , and drives very well. The interior of the car is in very good shape, bone stock EXR interior. Power windows, sunroof, locks all work well. New brakes all around with Brembo Blank front rotors from JDM Source. New twin tip stainless steel muffler, great sound, looks subtle, and clean. So much more that I can't remember at the moment.
The Bad:
UPDATE: 5/10/12 - last time i drove the car, I started it and drove around the corner to put some gas in it, started right up after charging the battery, got around the corner and it died, I could hear that the fuel pump wasnt running. Best guess is the leads are corroded. It was a new walbro pump 4 years ago, since the swap it has hardly been driven. The car has been parked now for 4 years.
Typical honda rust on rear fenders, needs to be cut out and redone. The TPS was damaged during the swap, and have not had it fixed yet, causes some hesitation at part throttle below 3500 rpm, but idles fine and at higher rpm is fine, but needs to be fixed. The AC was lost during the swap, no room for it with the manifold. Cruise also not redone, but was not a concern for me.
This car is a total sleeper. No one expects this in a wagon. I have put less than 500 kms on it since the swap. I moved to a new house and have been doing huge reno's and just never got the time to finish it up the drive it the way I hoped. My loss your gain.
it's SOLD! Thanks
