On my car I put on the thick(1/8") protective film from part source last winter and it burnt. Is there any protective film that won't burn? My fogs are glass and the bulbs are only 35w h8.:dunno:

Through personal experience, they only burn if they are on and there is no airflow going to them. I've started turning of my foglights/driving lights when sitting in traffic for more than 5 minutes, or if I'm stopped waiting for someone/something more that 5 minutes. I've gone through 3 sets of 3M/Ricochet film, and since I've started turning them off, this one has lasted the longest with no signs of burning whatsoever. Hope that helps you.

Icon Tint did a set for me a while back. Damien did a wicked job, it was cheap, and never had any burn issues. Maybe I just lucked out:dunno:

Damn! How small are your fogs? Might just be small and work like a magnifying lens. :(

Have you tried using this http://www.lamin-x.com/Nissan-Versa-07-Fog-Light-Covers-p/n121.htm. I have had it on my car for 2 years now and still looks good as new!

Mine haven't burned yet, but they are cut slightly smaller than the fogs surface area to allow cooling. It's not noticeable in the daytime and only noticeable up close and at certain angles when they're on at night, with yellow bulbs it shouldn't be noticeable at night either. If you get them in squares try and make it slightly smaller.

I take it you've seen me around. Ya with the yellow fogs I shouldn't notice at all.

aqure591 I'll take a look at the site.

Thanks guys.
