Hahaha thats awesome. Now I'm definately going to buy an RC car.

And all they had to do was make plastic tires, and they go drifting!
The bodies for those RC cars are so cool too, blitz skyline... sweeet!

Now i just need to find an RC car like that.

Anyone know if those RC cars are 4wd? or just rear i am guessing/

I think they were $WD as that band they had running to teh front axle...where does one find those in Calgary??...or would I have to go to an online vendor??...I mean I think we may have found Beyonds winter activity...

And all we need are the JDM Home Depot Tyres...I really loved that 180sx...

towerhobbies.com (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCBY0&P=7) is pretty much the best about being the cheapest for RC cars...........

go Here (http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0095P?FVSEARCH=micro+rs4&FVPROFIL=++&search3=Go) and go a little bit down the page to see the HPI MICRO RS4's......

also go to HPI's web site.... (http://www.hpiracing.com/index2.htm)

I dont understand that site... because that skyline link you gave me, doesnt say it includes the remote, but it doesnt say it requires one under "requires" ... but obviously you need a remote.

nascarfreak88

yeah, it comes with one........... its RTR (Ready To Run)

this is all you need
Radio Batteries: (8) AA size

Car batteries: 4 AA or AAA single cells, or optional pack

Charger: Only required with NiCD or NiMH single cells or pack

Misc. Items: Building and track equipment
(CA glue to adhere tires to wheels)

Radio Control Zone (http://www.radiocontrolzone.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?forumid=114)
I'm also know as "nascarfreak88" there too

um as far as speed, it depends on what type of motor you have in it......

here is a search on the Micro RS4 MT on the same site (http://www.radiocontrolzone.com/forums/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=344604&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending)

hope that helps, and feel free to ask any questions...........

and yet, more hop-upshere (http://shop.one18th.com/)

these things hit the RC scene alittle over a year ago, anf they were a mojor success. they are 1:18 scale electric cars (most rc cars are 1/10 or 1/8 scale)

Team Losi Racing just came out with a 1:18 scale off-road mini truck call the mini-t. it seem right now the bigest thing in RC are mini's.......

Don't know why they need to make special tires for them, I've got no trouble drifting my TC3 electric with regular rubber tires on it, never mind something to loosen it up.

there not jdm tires

the guy said the tires are actually plastic sink piping found at places like homo depot, cut to tire width and cut everything on the regular tire except for the side walls and crazy glue the plastic piping to the sidewalls

its better if its 4wd as well because they said its easier to control

What are you talking about slow? Just buy the micro, take out the stock motor, and go to PM hobbies and pick yourself up a Speed 300 of 540 Motor, some steel pinion gears, some dremelling and your micro will just fly. Seriously...just take it out to a smooth road, and just let it hit one of those curved sidewalks at top speed...it'll probably hit the house the sidewalk is on.

Currently this is my set up:

Stock everything (servo, esc, tires, shocks)
Custom Chassis made from a blank circuit board
6 cell 7.2v 1850mah NiMH battery pack
Speed 300 (if I want to go fast, but only lasts for about 20-30 minutes), or the Speed 330 (if I want to go moderately fast, but it lasts much longer on the same battery pack).
And the body I'm using right now is a the 140mm Honda Civic, painted in Pearl Silver with custom decals from SilentRage.net
