Yeah, spicy mama is good. The only bad thing is that they the place I bought it from (dunno if it's everywhere) gave me so much onions that I had to spend the rest of the day with onion breath LOL.

Otherwise, great.

But... I didn't see the Prime Rib burger. At least, I didn't see it at the University.

The lettuce on the spicy mama is nasty, the cheese is melted on it and it turns the lettuce into a soggy mess. Otherwise the burger is tasty, and they do load up the onions, wow!

Tried it yesterday... not good at all. The worse part is that I got suckered into the combo for $3 as I  A&W root beer.

I had one last night. Yummmmmy!

Fresh beef, fresh vegetables, toasty crisp bun right off the griller. Cheese just nicely melted overtop the beef. The sauce was good too. wish i had more ketchup tho

I don't think it exists.

When I search it in Google, the only place that says it exists is Beyond.ca

Too bad.

I want a Mozza Mama! :D

i'm not a huge fan of A&W burgers... they're so damn salty (taste-wise). does anyone else find this?

When they make your burger, they take the patty they cooked earlier, out of a steamer tray, throws it on the grill for 30-45 secs to heat up and shake on the A&W seasoning on the patty, same seasoning that is used on the onion rings. So it depends on the person working the grill, if they are heavy-handed on the seasoning shaker than salty burger.

^^ahh, gotcha. never knew that! so you could prolly ask for it without the a&w seasoning then, eh?

Yeap, and if you ask for it with no seasoning, they will have to make you a fresh one, not one sitting in the hot tray waiting to be bought. Same goes for onion rings. And if you want fresh fries, ask for no salt. All these items if you ask no seasoning, they will have to make you from fresh.

I worked at A & W when I was a young lad so I know their tricks.

had a spicy momma burger today. didn't live up to the hype, IMO. tasted more like raw onions than anything hot or spicy. couldn't taste the sauce at all, except for part of one bite.

tried the momma, wasn't anything special imo, wasn't spicy the least bit but then again i have a bit higher tolerance for spicy then other people, my gf thought it was

So prime rib burger = sirloin burger?
The funny thing I originally heard an advertisement for the prime rib burger. I didn't know the spicy momma even existed until I saw it in the restaurant.

They should put onion rings on the spicy momma burger instead of a whole onion, good though

The "spicy" mama is not spicy. It's got a teeny little bit of kick, almost the same as you would get if you had a huge plate of spaghetti and threw in a drop of Tabasco sauce. Same taste too (Tabasco sauce taste). I honestly preferred the regular mama burger.

I eat A&W at least once a week or every other week because it's the only thing good in the food court by my work. Yes it *can* get quite salty sometimes, especially their breakfast stuff like the sausage and egger. My fave is definitely the teen burger.
