Hey guys.. time has come for me to part with my pride and joy of the last 3 years.
General Info:
1998 Honda Prelude
Midnight Black Pearl Metallic
2 sets of wheels- summer set and winter set
230,000km on body, 6x,000km on drivetrain
Power everything, sunroof
Engine:
JDM H22a - perfect compression - purchased and installed at 48,000km when car was at 223,695km.
Timing belt was changed at time of swap.
*****Have an extra: NOT IN CAR CURRENTLY
-h22z block with under 1000km
-h22a4 head with oversized supertech valves, crower valves
and retainers
-LASKEY polished and balanced crankshaft - rated up to
13,000rpm
-miscellaneous shitload of little items (valve cover, oil pan, bearings etc.) to complete a built h22
that will safely rev past 9-10k.
Minor Mods:
-AEM CAI
-straight through exhaust to a megan racing muffler- 2.5" piping. no
cat - just a test pipe - NEW: ADDING MUGEN-STYLE TWIN LOOP AXLEBACK SETUP
-DC sports rep header
FORGOT to mention, exedy stage 2 clutch, fidanza super lightweight flywheel installed at time of engine swap.. about 8000km on it
Suspension:
Neuspeed Race lowering springs - good for a 2-2.5" drop
Neuspeed upper front strut bar
new front strut rods, sway bar
Exterior:
COMPLETELY RUST FREE.
Painted June 2010. Paint condition: 9.75/10. Just needs a cut and polish if you want a REALLY deep clear paint.
Shaved rear and front emblems at time of paint.
Rolled all fenders at time of paint.
Value Sports Replica lip kit - VS kit is very rare, the rep is very high quality. front, sides, rear.
Projected HID's - 6000k. look phenomenal, amazing cutoff.
Interior:
Totally stock except for TenzoR rally type seats. Have the OEM seats sitting around, in 9/10 condition.
Pioneer Premier deck powering stock components- sounds really good. Honda's "Acoustic Sound System" surprisingly delivers.
Wheels:
Rays/Volk VRX-10
-17x8 +35 front. both are about 6.5/10 condition - with Falken ZE-502's at about 95% tread- bought June.
-17x9 +35 rear. both are about 7/10 condition - with LingLong l688's at about 90% tread, bought May.
Winters: steelies with Hercules Avalanche winter tires from TireWarehouse. have done me good for 1 winter - about 85% tread left at least. Super thick grooves = good to not get stuck with a lower car.
The Good:
Sounds amazingly good for a honda, i'm not sure how. Low and gargle-y
looks low, but doesn't scrape very easily except for the front lip when not careful. all vital internals still have a lot of clearance underneath
2 healthy motors, one installed 1 hanging around for a build/whatever.
The Bad:
TenzoR seats have a few cigarette burns in drivers side - about 4 of them.
Rims could use an appointment with wheel works
Selling because I'm in school and have student loans plus a line of credit waiting to fuck me in the ass. Car is definitely winter driveable, plus turns heads decently in the summer. Fitment is definitely decent for a honda.
Price reflects fresh paint, minty body, healthy engine.
Please keep my for sale thread positive. Thanks.
8,500 OBO.
