With all the $ and nice rides in Calgary, would a similar project flies?

MY DEAR LORD!!! Keep scrolling through those pages. That place just gets better and better. I would love someone on the site to do something pimp like this. The DT condo doesn't cut it :)

If u start from post 1, u will see how the complex started from scratch. It's like a townhouse for cars.

I'm planning on building a "garage condo" on my imaginary acreage. :nut:

I fail to see what makes this any different than a regular garage/shop/warehouse space... is it just that there are a bunch of units like that in one complex? (I didn't read it, just looked at the pics obviously.)

This is exactly the kind of setup I'd live in.

Ya exactly. I just can't see myself driving from home to a separate place every time I want to work on my car. I want it in my house so that if I have an hour of free time here or there, I can work on the car.

Yes it was being graded when I was out there a few months ago.

Any more details on this? Builder website, concept webpage? Is this even something us "normal" folk can afford? :nut:

As long as you don't want to ever touch a vagina again.

Nor do you want to once you have a mancave like that.

Very cool... I have been following that thread on 6speed since the beginning of the guys build and it is awesome. "the dens" project looks kind of cool, although smaller then I would have imagined, it will still be cool to see. No pricing listed on their site, I just sent an email inquiring as to costs out of curiosity.

If you can afford this, you can afford hookers.

Got email back... Starts at $275k, for what sounds like a bare space with half bath. Seems pretty steep to me, especially located where it is. And no mention of maintenance fees.:dunno:
