Saw one yesterday and this morning coming down Shagannappi near Market mall. Pearl white. Alberta plates
Very nice.

Anyone one know how much different they are to Stealths (engine, performance, etc)? IMO they look a bit better than Stealths, don't know why...

They're the same! As in, the 3000GT VR4 = Stealth TT AWD. The Mitsus have a slightly different look but both cars rock! :D :D

I think that is the same one I see parked near Brentwood. It was from Houston. It was an automatic I believe.

:D Both cars have the same tranny and engine. 3.0l V6 DOHC with twin intercooled tubochargers. A 6 speed manual transmission and AWD make it a killer at the traffic lights.

Last night I was coming back from a drafting coordinator meeting in Calgary and I had my Stealth up to 156mp/h (255km/h) and she had some left to go. :D :D :D :D

I love this car.

"A 6 speed manual transmission "

Thats only the second generation though. In 94, as well as restyling to both, they got the getrag 6 speed and output bumped up from 300-320. at this point, they could overtake the 300zx for 0-60 and 1/4 mile time.

For 95, the americans got the spyder (retractable h/t) and we didn't (grrrrr :madred: ) Only 1600 were made! And only in 95!!! This is on my top 10 car list of all time, I absolutly love this car:

Whoa!! That Spyder is sweet!!!

Doesn't the Stealth only a 2 seater, while the 3000 actually has a 'seats' in the back.

If you were to sit in both cars, you could not tell the difference. The Dodge has a ram on the steering wheel and the 3000gt has a diamond. That is the only noticeable difference.

I love the Spyder too, but they were made in 96 too, those came with the 18" wheels that came out on 95 VR-4's They were shipped to california partially assembled and the retractablee roof was done there at American sunroof Company,ASC(I think) You can get SL(not turbo) and VR-4 spyders, ya can tell by stock wheels easily!!

Check dis spyder out!!!

:werd: just kidding...

Seriously, what's wrong with you.....

I've seen that car around also. Very nice....IMO, I still like the styling of the 1st gen stealths the best...(not just cause I own one..) I have a thing for cars w/pop up lights, and I like the side skirts on the 1st gen stealths the best, and dislike the different rear pillar on 3000gt's. The only think I dislike about the stealth is the fugly "banana" stock spoiler. Once it's gone though it looks
:bigpimp:, but I do like the rear bumpers on 2nd gen stealth better.

Would love to have a spyder though...

Geez, this is an old thread...who woke it up?
