View Full Version : Stereo help, Speakers buzzing, subs...

Hey, if anyone could take a look at a car today I'd appreciate it, the subs weren't working and there's a buzzing sound coming from the rear speakers, which are powered by the amp apparently but also work when not plugged into the amp... Not entirely sure what the problem is exactly or how to fix it.

Noise from subs, but lower vol than it should be. Rear speakers work, but they buzz when hooked up to the amp, when unplugged (from amp) they don't buzz and sound fine, powered by deck I guess as well. Thing is the plug with the speakers to the amp when unplugged seems to stop power from going to the subs.

Sounds like your amp is blown. Not sure though

If amp is blown would power still be going to the subs at all though?

Couldn't tell you, don't have the car with me it's my ex's, probably wouldn't know how to check if I could.
