he did a 3000 hp build not too long ago. I think that was a $70-90k engine IIRC.

NRE makes fantastic engines, but holy shit are they ever expensive for what you get with most of their 400-900hp builds. If you ever shopped around for crate engines, you'd know what I mean.

Nice. Beautiful all-around work. He goes overkill on everything. They look to be $4-6000 more than the lower prices for dart-block crate engines.
But who cares, the guy is creative on the work he does. Not sure 2000hp is all that daily driver friendly though. I mean it works, but where to use it!!!

Amazing build. I can't even fathom what a 2000 horespower car feels like. The fastest car's I've been in are 300-350hp. Is it just me or is the speedo not working in that vid?

It may or may not make 2000 hp, but as they drove it on the street... nowhere near 2000 hp.
