You are right, it's in Edmonton. I can't give any ticket details other then the pre-sale sold out in 5 minutes this morning and they are about $90.

And yes pre-sale tickets sold out so fast. I was on boodang purchasing tickets and when I went to click the checkout button, the site had already crashed.... by the time I had another break at work to purchase tickets of ticketmaster, the tickets went from 72.00 to 110.00 .... They sold 1500 tickets today.

Hard electro isn't for everyone. My fave sub gendre's are progressive trance and chillout. I've been to alot of massives my day and saw people like yoji back in 06 and tiesto back in like 02 (nyanna tour) and I still thought the event itself was great. And I don't like those dj's very much.... I think this event will be legendary.

With regards to Deadmou5, the last time I saw him in town at Flames Central I was ultimately disappointed. The show ended abruptly and I said outloud to my buddies "wo...there is no way thats the end of the show". Unfortunately it was, and JFK the following night blew the Deadmou5 out of the water. I love Deadmou5, but I don't think he was vibing off of the Calgary crowd, unlike Aoki, MSTRKRFT and JFK on his own seemed to.


Edit: I am definitely glad to see that tons of other members know who Skrillex is though, its gonna be DOPE!|

Which Show did you go to? he played 3 shows back to back, i'd assume he'd be tired of the same venue by the 2nd day.... I know I would when I play events like Electric Zoo in NYC with about 10,000 people there.

Can't remember - it was a friday night at FC, and JFK played the night after.

If you go on the boodang site, they say that the Westin has given people exclusive rates specifically to cater to this event. They have a direct link from their site I believe. I am not totally sure if booking through expedia gives you the same rate, but what you got looks fairly low.

I booked two days ago and got the same deal on expedia.... $97 after taxes. That is a great deal considering there regular rate is $140+

I'm assuming there will be a licensed area where you can drink (a bunch of cafeteria tables in a fenced area where you get bracelets to let them know you are of age) Steve Aoki and Skrillex is so sick.
