Definitely no twin turbo setup from the factory. Good luck finding a stock 93 turbo. A mint one will probably set you back over $20K. Possibly try looking for a decent 91, they're more plentiful and a bit cheaper. The 93 model is extremely rare in general, the combined number of cars imported for US/Canada was approx 2000 total. Out of that I've heard only 300-500 were available to Canada. The 94-95's were rarer still and only sold in the US, around 1000 units. Have you considered importing from the states? FYI here's some major differences between the 91/92 & 93 MR2 turbos, the earlier cars can be upgraded to 93 spec if desired:

-93+ exhaust manifold has extra bolts compared to the 91/92
-LSD tranny on 93+ cars
-additional synchros on 2nd and 3rd gear, and reverse 93+ cars
-93+ clutch travel is shorter in addition to the shorter throw shifter.
-93+ cars sit 1/2 inch lower than the 91/92 cars.
-93+ has bigger brakes
-93+ has a revised suspension to tame the snap oversteer tendency of the 91/92. Many autocrossers like the handling of the 91/92 cars, but for overall street use the 93+ cars have safer handling traits
-91/92 car is lighter than 93+

That's all I can remember for now.

Got to it all before me:) If you plan on modding the mr2 it doesnt matter what year you buy, you can pick up the 91/92s for a bit less. If I was looking for another Mr2 id go for 94-95. Includes all the amenities of the 93 but has a nicer spoiler, and updated tailights, also has dual air bags if thats a concern to you...the 93+ mr2s also have a much higher fuel cut..17 as opposed to 12psi I believe

Wait until Dec 2004 or early 2005 and get a JDM SW20 when they become 15 years old. They're hella-cheap compared to what we get here, probably lower kilometer and in better shape too. You'd probably pay less than $8000 all said and done for one with less than 100k kms. Another bonus is that you don't have to make any modifications to get it registered, just needs to pass an out-of-province inspection.

But if you got money and want one now.....

My MR2 is from the states the original orner bought from a toyota dealer in chicago then drove it up here. I dont have any daytime runners or anything like that. It shoudlnt be a problem buying an MR2 in the states I would contact transport canada prior to brining it up here just to clarify things

We haven't imported an SW20, we've had one become available in the past that was produced in 1989 and was fairly cheap. However it was sold to other people before we got our hands on it.

As mx73someday has mentioned beginning in 2005 the SW20 becomes easier to get as the production numbers started increasing :)

SW20's are pretty cool cars, and for the money you save if I were personally buying a usdm or jdm spec car... I'd go JDM, and the rhd setup isn't even that difficult of annoying to drive, although gets challenging if you're a drive through junkie :)
