So I was going through my car manual to look up something, and I came across a section talking about the clutch. It said, do not use the clutch (I'm guessing gear) to park on a hill, use e-brake only.

I'm not wondering what I should do, I park it in gear anyways, but my road test a couple years back, my only points taken off were from downhill parking, and not locking the gear in reverse.

SO, is it a firm rule in a roadtest, to park in gear? JW.. :)

I think it means to not park the car solely by leaving it in gear... (without using the ebrake). Or they put that in the manual for the retards who park and start their car in gear.

one would think it would be common sense to park it in gear lol that way if the ebrake ever failed the car is still fine
