For my stop in Paris, I was contacted by Luisa, who was interested in shooting. She is actually an actress rather than a model, and is from Germany and came into Paris for the shoot. She said she had never done a lingerie shoot before, but hey, I was up for the challenge to train her. Her boyfriend also came, so I actually used him in some outdoor photos, since I also do a lot of couples shooting.

It was REALLY fricken COLD! Super chilly, rainy, and super WINDY. And we got started really late so the outdoor shoot ended up being later at night.

As before, PLEASE tell me which outdoor and which indoor photos you like best. I am trying to determine which photos to put on my soon-to-be-new website, which is why I'm posting here, so I can get feedback to help me decide. Otherwise I really normally wouldn't share. THANKS!

definitely need to add nsfw to the title....

I like 3, and 18(although this is clearly a rip off of JTi's idea, and he's going to hound you until you give in that it is indeed his idea)

Very nice, this is probably your best boudoir set yet!

Indoor: 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 (especially the right one)

Cheers guys. Sorry, didn't think to add NSFW in the title. If a mod wants to change it then please do so. I tried but it only changes the title of the first post and not the thread itself.

Rip off of JTI? Sorry I had no idea, I'm unfamiliar with his portfolio. I've been doing motion shots like this for a long time, first traffic motion shot I did was on Edmonton trail in 1990. Wow... that's almost 21 years ago. :nut:

lol...I know it wasn't a rip off...it was a joke about some of his comments.

# 2, 3, 6, 8, and 21 came out the best to my eye.

I love #6 because she looks just like a 1930's pin-up girl!

The rest of the shots are great, just the subject doesn't seem very natural to me (which is very important to me). The shots I picked show the most natural beauty in her and the surroundings. They also show me the emotions and attitude associated with Paris. The love, lust, infatuation, stylista, rouge.

Great shots mate! My jealousy factor is through the roof right now! lol

2, 14, 17, 21 are my favs

Great shots!

They were all shot with the Canon 40d body right? What lenses did you use?

Thanks

Amazing shots!
You may want to be careful of #15; it could be argued that the Tower is a main feature, which is copyright infringement (though a very low chance of that being enforced, but it has happened). Something to be aware of in general, a lot of architecturally unique spots (buildings, bridges, monuments, etc) may be under copyright protection IF you are using the images for a commercial purpose.

Yeah, all taken on a 40D. I brought 4 lenses with me on the trip: Canon 10-22, Sigma 30 1.4, Canon 50 1.2, Canon 85 1.8. As for the breakdown on particular shots, they are as so:

1. 50 1.2
2. 50 1.2
3. 50 1.2
4. 50 1.2
5. 50 1.2
6. 30 1.4
7. 10-22 @ 22mm
8. 30 1.4
9. 30 1.4
10. 30 1.4
11. 50 1.2
12. 50 1.2
13. 30 1.4

14. 30 1.4
15. 10-22 @ 10mm
16. 10-22 @ 10mm
17. 30 1.4
18. 10-22 @ 14mm
19. 30 1.4
20. 50 1.2
21. 30 1.4

I used the 85mm for three poses on the entire trip... I probably could have just left it at home, but it's so small and light that it's worth bringing anyways to have a nice telephoto just in case.

This is why I leave my FF bodies at home most of the time. The above setup is a full, complete kit, and it's TINY and small! I have a similar setup for my D700 but it weighs twice as much and I need a much bigger bag.

SIZE MATTERS when you're traveling. hahaha

But it's just so convenient to carry that I use it for most of my local shoots too.

Full frame is so overrated imo.

Yeah, I hear ya. But getting properly releases for structures as popular as this is rather uncommon, as there are a billion photographs taken of it in any given year. If someone complains then I'll comply, but I doubt it. fingers crossed.

Your 40D is one bloody awesome camera. It has probably impressed me the most out of all the cameras I've ever owned. It's kinda like a sleeper cam: priced low, not much fanfare about it, nothing flashy, but performance beyond what most photographers are capable of subjecting it to.

And I feel that 10MP is the perfect balance of pixels for a 1.6 crop sensor. It's awesome.
