For sale is my 84 Toyota Tercel 4wd SR5. 136 000kms It has a 5 spd manual tranny, with 4wd HI AND LO, just like the pick ups. Only its a wagon and you can keep your stuff dry inside, perfect for weekend adventures to the mountains. The tires on it have decent tread on them but are rated for summer/all season. Radio works, rear wiper even works, heater works great. 4wd works great. Does NOT burn any oil and doesn't have produce any kind of smoke at all blue, white or black. The suspension rides nice and feels quite solid for the comfortable ride it offers. Cheap on gas, I haven't put over $30 in it and its taken me 350-500km's depending if its city with lots of stopping and going or just highway. It is a very bare bones car, in my opinion this is best - the least amount of things you have that can go wrong the better and these cars are like tanks in the snow.

The bad: Its slow, your dates will probably never call you again unless your clever enough to get them home to see your summer car. oh, and its horrendous to look at. The interior IS clean (more pics to come) it just needs new front seats and a marker lamp lens. I was going to install some cheap black racing buckets as kind of a joke but never got around to it. Of course since its older and it sat for sometime in the sun, the clear coat is peeling off the roof, my plan was to paint it chalkboard green and have fun with it. Luckily there isn't much rust though. It could use an alignment as the steering wheel is slightly off center but there is no abnormal tire wear or pulling left or right indicating there is nothing significantly wrong.

Recent work:

Fluids flushed
New front brakes, pads and rotors
New CV axles on both sides
Tune up, plugs wires, fuel filter, thermostat - will be doing the cap and rotor this week.
Valve cover gasket replaced and cover was painted cammo
New brighter headlights installed last month
New lower ball joints (high quality ones, not the cheap ones)

Comes with new timing belt, I've inspected the current belt and it appears to be okay without any cracks. These are also a non-interference motor so even if it does break, its a quick fix.

Price is $1800 obo I may include a roof rack (not pictured) as well for that price. I will post more interior shots tonight. Leave a message as I usually am not able to answer my phone during work but I can usually call back within 10-15 min. Selling because I'd like to buy a Blazer/Jimmy and my friend has one that needs a tranny that I can grab but I need space first.

Also it IS currently register and insured in Alberta.
