I am currently in the second year of SAIT's Power Enginerring Technology program. I was just wondering if anyone had some insight on full time jobs for someone in my position once I am all finished up with school.

I currently have my 4th class ticket and I'm well on my way to my 3rd class.

Cheers, Zach

If you are willing to move to Medicine Hat, Methanex is currently hiring operators as they are going to be restarting the plant. They are filling for 35 positions and are looking for any experience level. They will only guarantee three years of work, but it's possible the plant will run longer than that, all dependant upon natural gas prices. If you are looking for experience, this would be great for someone fresh out of school, first class plant with lots of equipment to play with.
