Thoughts on the RX-8?

I think the RX-8 looks really nice, expecially the interior and how the doors open; also has a good price tag on it, just wondeirng that everyone else thinks. Like does Mazda really suck or something??

I love everything about the body and the interior - but apparently the power doesn't feel like it's all there. But I will take one anyways. :D

Nothing wrong wtih the car another 100hp wouldn't fix. The chassis is very well designed and handles exceptionally well, its just seriously underpowered.

Basically the same as my thougths on the Miata. Fun, good handling car with a great chassis in serious need of more power.

If the extra seats are not a consideration, I would just go for the S2000 or 350z. If the extra seats are a consideration, I would just go for the STi or G35 coupe. Since you drive an 04 330ci, that car is better than all of the above, subjectively bias of course:D

i think its pretty good car, nice design, useful, good handling, decent power, and the price is pretty good too ( $39k loaded, comparing to 47k for 350z/G35c/Sti)

Didn't say it was :) Just talking about stock cars. Some of the aftermarket suspension pieces for the Miata are pretty intense as well.
