I now have the car on the road, but in all the time I have worked and tinkered with it running, the cooling fan has not gone on. When is this fan set up to run, and at what Temp.
Obviously I can't check it when I am driving it, but when it is idling, I would think it would when up to Temp.
How can I check it?

Thanks all

Could be that the fan's relay is shot. You need to see if it's even getting any power. :dunno:

a cooling fan goes on at what temp your termostat is. If your engine doesn't get hot enough to reach that temp the fan wouldn't go on.

^^^ what he said...it only goes on when it needs too...hell with how cold it is right now it you could probably drive all day and it may never have too turn on :nut: all the air blowing straight at your car when you drive cools it pretty damn good

Yeah, -30 does that to cars, plus makes air really dense so more air gets in, more fuel gest in, therefore more spinning tires on icy roads!
