View Full Version : Can I insure a vehicle in Alberta?

I have BC insurance and plates on my car and a BC license. Can I get alberta registration/plates/insurance on a different vehicle while still holding a BC license? Anyone know?

I don't see the point. Alberta has the highest insurance rates in the country!

while we are at the point, if i have a relative that lives in BC....can i use their adress and pay BC insurance? while still living in calgary? and if theres scenario if you get caught you can say you were on vacation right?

I would be looking at just insuring a small motorcycle, which would not be expensive at all, even in Alberta. If I want to get it insured/registered in BC, I'd have to find a way to bring it over there and bring it all the way back just for the process.

you can do that,.. but thats called fraud, you get caught with that.. not only do you get your license suspended for a long ammount of time, you could be charged but :whocares: its up to you :angel:
