Ive talked to James before and was about to get him to do my HIDs about a month ago but he didnt have them in stock. So I went to another Kijiji member who happens to be friends with James and he says hes a good guy to deal with.

The guy I went to is in Arbour Lake and is a bit cheaper and has tons of stock even bulb replacements.

So you can buy a full kit or just the bulbs?

The bulbs im guessing are no different then going to canadian tire and getting them?

i see that we are going to have more ricers with HIDs in crappy headlights. HIDs do not belong in cars that were never designed to have them. retrofit projectors or buy a new car if you want HIDs.

you can buy both full kits or just the bulbs if you burn out a bulb.

and no the bulbs are not the same as buying them from canadian tire, these are HID bulbs so a bit different

Wow we have some great responses here.

Yeah, you'll have brighter lights, but it still won't help, because where it's being placed is no where near where it needs to be.

Don't be a douche - do a proper retrofit.

I went to James for my 6000k HIDS and got two pairs installed in both my fog lights and headlights right in their garage. There were two guys, James and his brother, both very knowledgeable about cars. Got to ride in their self modded Tiburon, it was hella fast!

Overall, very chill guys, easy to talk to. I've recommended some friends to them. My HIDS have been in for about half a year and haven't had any problems yet. They said to just see them if something goes wrong

*edit - Oh yes, this was at Arbour Lake.

Nothing say "I can't afford a real car with HID" better than HID in halogen housing.

DDM tuning makes really great HID kits, I've purchased 2 slim kits from them and have had zero problems. But there isn't much difference in all HID kits, the DDM slim ballasts just look better than the competitors imo.

For people looking for a retrofit, Retro-Solutions sells a great DIY kit.

Not true, I could easily afford a car with projector/HID if I wanted to but I am too cheap. My income has no bearing on this decision.
