wow I like the direction pontiac is going!! That looks like one smokin roadster. Looks like they set their sights on the S2000.

One thing that is kind of funny is how the hood of the car looks like it encloses the headlamps as well. Either that or it just covers the headlamps. Also the e-brake is further on the right side then i've seen. Probably more tempting for a passenger to pull the e-brake !

it is so funny that Honda can make 2.2 litres make 240 horses without FI and that GM can't... But this one has WAY more torque!

I think that it is a little heavy, but with that torque it should stomp or at least give the S2000 a good run for the money... come to think of it... it is going to be priced just below the S2000 if those USD prices are correct.

yah but you can't compare engines like that, back when 4th gen preludes put out 190HP (correct me if im wrong) with the SR-V version which incorporated value timinga dn was a 2.2 liter, GM had 4 cylinders 2.3 liters that put out 192 horsepower. The ecotec is a really strong moter, adn instead of producing that piece of crap above i think they should produce the OPEL speedster here.

Dude, if u hadn't noticed. The mercedes SLK 230 is over 3000...it's 40 more than a 99' Boxster(2820lbs). S2000 is 2800 as well, Audi TT is 3200.

So b4 u open your mouth...look at how much the competition is.

the only 2 i know that are less are the Mr2 spyder and the miata. and they are like 8 second or slower cars most of the time.

I'd say it's not bad, not great either...but certainly not a pig.

i agree with xcon, the convertible had a nice rear (humps remind me of clk320 and modena spyder a bit). coupe looks like:barf: that window is weird. I will never buy it. someone might, i guess, maybe.
