IS it possible to put agree / Disagree icons in each post which you can click and it will display the total number of agree / disagrees??

Then peeps can like / dislike comments and such.

When I read cbc news, you can agree / disagree with each comment on teh bottom of the page. I think its kinda cool.

Neat idea. It could be like digg.com. The issue would be that nobody would ever be able to see Toma post.

I actually don't mind the idea at all.

With this said, I think something like that would have to be part of the functionality of the forum software- unless Kenny is a great programmer and has the source code...

What you see is what you get, unless they upgrade the vbulletin they can't add new features. But that is whole different topic. People don't like changes like Facebook when they upgraded it everyone freaked out and other people loved it. So Im sorry I don't think your idea is possible. Sorry.

But if I'm wrong please correct me.

I wasnt aware the purpose of a forum was really just a big rating system. :dunno:
whereas were all just wasting our time with posting actual opinions.

This is the problem in the world today. Agreeability and correctness do not go hand in hand.

See: Argumentum ad populum: the fallacy of attempting to prove a conclusion on the grounds that all or most people think or believe it is true.
http://philosophy.lander.edu/logic/popular.html

It happens here far too often already.
