His problem is that he's driving on his roof apparently.... Common Jeep problem.

That's my feeling as well. I feel like it's just a T not L.. Rear side window doesn't look as long as an LJ's.

Apparently he was going Westbound, hit some ice and was lucky to not continue flipping into the Eastbound lanes. This pic was taken going Eastbound.

There was a Cherokee flipped over there at about 11:30, this must have happened earlier, cleaned up and then another one flipped.

He was actually driving on his side, looks like spun out a few times and ended up on his side... right at the reservoir. The one I seen was a white cherokee so must have been a couple of them today driving on their sides...

I was on that section of Glenmore around 5AM. Slippery as fuck, felt sketchy going speed limit around the curves haha. Had a feeling that was going to happen to someone later.

for those that live in the central south, bonaventure north of southland is slippery as shit, going through the S my back end kicked out and then my front lost traction, ended up almost drifting into the curb, would have been fun if my daughter wasn't in the back seat

and yes i have winters

Ah well played. I overlooked the disgusting square headlights that make it the bastard child of the Jeep world. No wonder if rolled over.

no no no, u got it all wrong, 4x4="traction", didn't u know that? Guess he learned all that 4x4 "traction" doesn't mean SHIT when your trying to emergency maneuver or stop.............all in all probably serves him right for driving fast on ice covered roads.

There was a Nissan Sentra flipped on the exit from southbound Stoney to Crowchild yesterday... It's almost impossible for me to imagine how you can do something so stupid to flip your car in such a spot (it was in between the exit and the main road, whatever you call it, warning spot or something?). Person must've saw or felt ice, panicked and just slammed the brakes and then had no idea what to do from then on. Also must've been going pretty fast too to flip it on it's roof.

LOL @ person on crowchild trail last night that took the corner down the hill WAY too fast in an older Accord and lost their shit. Looked like they hit the barrier but I couldnt tell.

I drive that ramp every morning, and better than 50% of the time I get some idiot ahead of me that hits their brakes as soon as they get onto the ice. There is a stretch of ~200' of ice immediately at the start of the ramp, then the road is clear, and for whatever reason, people will panic brake when they touch that ice, even though the road doesn't curve for a few hundred feet and there is no need to slow. Usually when somebody ahead of me hits their brakes there you can watch their car start to rotate because they keep catching a bit of traction on one side.

I saw that guy too, and judging from the trails through the snow he was one of those people, he braked on the ice, spun a bit to the left, tried to correct, caught a bit of traction and went into the ditch at a ~30-45* angle, his front-left wheel went down, car turned sideways, rolled over once, then straightened out on the second half-roll.

yeah difference between me and upside down people is that i know how to fucking drive, first year with 4wd, every other past winter has been rwd. when people panic and slam their brakes on shit happens... and then those people dont know how to handle their vehicles in these emergency situations, the point i was making is that it is not scary or dangerous to have a car sliding if you know what you are doing and know how to react in that situation, the people that do not know what to do and rely on slamming on their brakes to save them are the ones that end up in the ditch or on their roof

LOL maybe as a prerequisite to getting a license in AB, no CANADA, everyone has to complete a winter slalom under a pre-requisite time and without spinning hahahaha. Fuck I'd take the test just for fun.

No shit. That exit was designed to be exited at 100, and slowed to 80 or 90 for the portion going West onto Crow. No matter how well you design something, some ass hat will still fuck it up. The curve is so gentle until you hit the loop for East Crow and even then, I'll bet you can easily do that loop at 80 on a good day.

Woah woah, I'm confused. I thought the whole POINT of winter was to try and do the sickest 4 wheel drifts!!!!

That's what I'm referring to. The holding down portion to fully disengage.

And for death defying minster truck stories. I was drifting behind a s5???? That was going 20 the other day because I was so bored I had to do something to keep myself remotely engaged in driving.

i have held mine down way longer than 10 seconds before, problem is they change up what does it for every year. only trick i have heard of is one that might not be reversible depending on the individual jeep

To fully disable you have to be stopped and out of gear I found worked for me.

I actually thought drivers have been better than usual over the past couple of weeks. I haven't seen any accidents on my commute from the far NW to NE. I've even noticed that some of the 4x4 pickup truck drivers were actually driving with the rest of the traffic rather than the typical tailgating, darting in and out and driving like it's dry.
