Custom plates

I couldn't find anything in the search function so I thought make a thread. Does anybody know how much they cost and how long they take to be made? And if I can make an 8-digit one since the new plates are like that.

I'm not sure about the rest but when I asked the registry they said that the 8 letter/number combos are reserved for businesses.

Page 10 has the price for you... $185.00 + $9.25 = $194.25.

I seem to remember when I got mine made it took about one month. I can't remember the time frame they told me though.


I know nothing other than a rumour about the 8 character plates, and that is you are unable to get personalized 8 character plates.

only 7 digits for custom plates. 2-4 weeks wait time. i paid around 250ish including registration.

One time fee for custom plate + yearly renewal for vehicle.

yes, they would be able to. best to do it in person as they are more helpful.
