Calgary's Derek P goes 7.09 at 206.99 mph on D radials!

Just this weekend at the Vegas Street Car Supernational's race, Derek managed a "easy" 7.09 @ 206.99 mph!

He had the fastest car in eliminations (the #1 and #2 qualifyer were running 500+ inch big blocks and twin 94mm turbos, where Derek runs a small block Windsor and twin 88's - both the big block cars blew up during qualifying), and the fastest small block powered car in XDR (Extreme Drag Radial).

Unfortunately, he was eliminated in second round when he spun the tires running over something slippery on the track... the 330 foot time was half a tenth faster than the 7.09 pass... may have been that illusive 6 second pass!! His car is also 200 pounds heavier than the rules allow.

Your dad is awesome...he REALLY loves racing. He had fun, but the race was WAY to long and too cold to be truly enjoyable.
