Hey guys,

I'm looking at buying used and I'm down to two choices.

A 2003 4Runner Limited V8 with 160000k $17900 obo

or

2007 FJ Cruiser American model (C-Pkg) with ~67000 miles $19500 obo

If well maintained, how many more kms can I get out of the 4Runner's V8/tranny?

Is the FJ recommended?

Pros and cons? Please help!

The FJ. The runner is nicer, but with the FJ being newer and 100000 less km that would be my choice.:dunno:

if the 4runner is kept in good shape up to date with all maintenance. it should last awhile, from what i heard anyways

I have an Fj, C package as well. It seems the price is abit high for a car of that year and KMs.

I love my Fj. Its has much more headroom than the 4runner. The power is very good. 5sp AUTO. It does not have the luxuries of the 4runner. no sunroof, no rear powerslide window, no leather seats, no heated seats, no heated mirrors.

two major problems with the cruiser. 1 fender bulges which can lead to it tearing. 2. some people have problems with the rear diff.

The FJ is American. So ~67000 miles would be ~110000 kms.

The ad says the 4runner is the 4.0 V6... might want to clear that up before you go spend 18 grand on a 03 truck with 160k on it.
