Actually its past concept - you're not looking at a model in those pictures, you're looking at a prototype. Its not a question of whether they can build it, they already have. Now they have to answer the difficult question as to whether they go to production or not - it all depends on if they can get enough orders to make it profitable.

They don't even know where they are going to manufacture it.

More info - AMG engine weigh 525 pounds and provides I think 142 hp/litre. Target top speed is 240 with 0-60 at 2.8.

Might be less than 450 000, it depends on the numbers they produce/level of interest in the car, (which as good as the car is I still can't see it being that high).

They say it will be between the Ford GT and the Enzo, who knows, maybe it will be 250-350 000.

This thread would give the marketing people over at Chrysler some valuable information. No matter what they build even if its the most incredible vehicle out there they still have the Chrysler name on it and that devalues the product..maybe its time for them to create another brand to help sell their new innovative cars

Hard to say. The autoweek issue suggested that they are trying to get the design team to change gears so to speak and start thinking like company that could market a supercar. If Daimler-Benz is going to make the Chrysler marquee a more respected brand they have a lot of work ahead of them, but they seem intent on doing just that. They bought a distant 3rd place North American company and to be honest I myself didn't really consider the brand as a car I would purchase as soon as 3 years ago. Now I'm a fan of almost all the post merger designs.

If they really want to produce this car and they feel people won't buy it because of the brand, they could always release it as a Benz or a Dodge.

I dunno Redlyne, Honda was a shitty shitty brand a few years back and they have come a long way. With MB making more of an impression/associating with Chrysler it is only a matter of time as long as the designs and innovations are kept state-of-the-art.
