I picked my xbox up back in the summer of 2007 and it has seen around 1-2 hours use a day. Never had the RROD. Althoguh my disc drive is really loud...

Im jsut curious as to how much other beyonders' use their system, how long theyve had it, and how many you've gone through...

I've had my 360 for about 2 years roughly and have probably played less than 25 hours total...

Other hobbies take up way more of my time.

I've had mine for 3 years now. I did have it RROD on me after about a year (my own fault.. not enough ventilation.. older chipset) Think it's a falcon chip at the moment.
It's on probably around 6 hrs a day. I play about 1-2 hrs/day on it.. the rest of the time it streams music, film, etc. etc.
It's also my long distance phone. my mom or sister get in touch with me easily through it.
I probably use it more than my phone... then again i hate the phone.. so :dunno:

I won my first Xbox through Pepsi "Be First to Play" contest, barely touched it at all since there weren't any good games out.

Then Halo 3 came out and logged possibly 5 hours a day on weekdays and all day on weekends. Then when MW1 came out, the box finally RROD.

Got a new Xbox the day after from Costco and kept playing. Last year I realized my HDD was too small so I decided to buy an elite. And a lower current through power is nice too. Around the same amount of game play.

Then the past 6 months I haven't really played much. Let my brother play DR2 and I've just been playing a bit of BO here and there. Been keeping busy with other things lately...

2005-2007: Minimal
2008-2009: Way too much
2010: Minimal

I basically played the shit out of Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2. I haven't even played Halo REACH on it yet (I lost my controller  ). Mainly I am waiting for some good games to come out, mainly RPG's (ME3 bitches!)

 That's the most ridiculous statement I've ever heard about the RROD. It's not your fault, it was a faulty product.

Anyways, I'm quite seasonal. Sometimes I'm on it 10-20 hours a week (winter), other times I don't touch it for months (summer)

having every console + PC, i really only play 360 when a game is offering a good MP that is usually better to play on console like a 3rd person (RDR, DR2 etc), most of my friends who do play games have 360 or PC, when a good game is out, usually go hard at it - 20-30 hrs a week.

when there isnt a game i barely ever touch it, maybe the odd movie on a USB stick or stream from the pc Media center to the big screen.

It would be odd if I didn't play at least 1 game of NHL 09,10 or 11 a day. I have every console and all of the popular games but I always go back to NHL on 360. Kinect has been taking more and more of my spare time though.

This is me. I have had a 360 since launch and never play it. Except for all of the RPGs. ME1, ME2, Fallout 3/New Vegas. Clocked WAY too many hours on each of those games. Than nothing else. I use it a lot for a media center and streaming from my PC.

I have 2 360's, my first one RROD'd about 2 years in. I bought a 360 Arcade on sale for $159.99 and sent the broken one back for repairs.

Got the broken one back and it would turn on for about 30 seconds and would shut off immediately. Shit. I took it apart because I didn't want to wait the 3 week turnaround and found out the fan wasn't plugged back in at the repair center :banghead: . Plugged it back in and it's been 100% ever since.

Anyway, I probably log about 10 hours a week or so. The second unit I bought hasn't missed a beat in a year.
