Accident on southbound Deerfoot tonight

Did anyone see the accident on southbound Deerfoot near the Memorial exit (?somewhere around there) at around 7:45 PM?

There was a mazda 3 that looked like it was rear-ended really hard. I saw 2-3 police vehicles at the scene, but the passengers in the mazda were STILL INSIDE the vehicle... not a good sign

I saw two police vehicles with lights on and an Carmacks arrow truck in the shoulder/lefthand lane coming from memorial to deerfoot south and a mazda 3 with no occupants. This was closer to 9pm though!

On the contrary - if I was stationary on Deerfoot, I'd sure as hell want to be inside a car, even if it had already been crashed - if the alternative was to stand out on the road amidst the idiotic driving populace.

T'was at mcknight - I hauled the mazda off the side of deerfoot.

No ambulances hauling carnage away; believe there were some tickets issued for not moving off to the side of the road.
