I will assume this is not a joke, and you are actually serious.

You are not going to find a tower (case, CPU, RAM, Mobo, PSU, HDD, CR-RW) and a valid O/S for $50. You can hardly buy an empty case for $50, let alone the other parts and the O/S.

You might find a granny system here for $200 if you are super super lucky.

You will NEVER find Win7 on anything in that price range.

Now that said, considering the season, I want to be helpful.

I suggest you check out City of Calgary Surplus as they have some towers with Win XP pro included. They have some 1.8Ghz P4 Core Duo with XP for $250.

OP, if you find your own copy of windows, I can sell you a dual-core p4 machine for $60. It will run Windows 7 without problem.

50 is what id hope to get it for as that's what her budget is =)

stop being retarded. and unlike you, i didnt have to take out a loan to buy my M3, my acura, nor my lexus =)
