I think they get commission of sales as well.

My mistake. 11 dollars an hour.

3 interviews is rediculous for that job.

I worked at a budget rent a car when I was 16.

I'm sure the manager will make more than 11/hr ( ) but still, three interviews for the position is probably a bit much.

The benefits, free car and gas ?

i had a buddy that worked enterprise for a bit, no discounted gas, and rentals were pretty cheap, i remember him getting a Chrysler 300 (when they were cool lol) with insurance for around 25 bux a day

$25x 30 = $750/Mnth?????

Thats like a lease and insurance on a BMW? where is this benefit?

If you actually read his post instead of skimming through it, you would read that the $25/day included the rental of the car, possibly gas and insurance as well.
Have a good day.

They def. won't pay your gas. I know that they allow managers to have a car each day, but you never know what you're driving. It could be a compact or a luxury, all depends on what is on the lot at the end of the day.

approx 40,000 is starting wage. then once you become an assistant manger you make salary + commission. It's a pretty good company to work for, I'm a manager with them. You can get to asst in one year.

pm me for other stuff if you want to know more.

For what it's worth, candidates that enter the Enterprise training program and work it for a year or so seem to be a hot commodity for recruiters looking to fill sales positions in other industries.

Drug companies like Pfizer, Eli Lilly and Abbott love stealing Enterprise reps for sales positions. I imagine other industries are also stealing them. Seems like every time I meet a new rep at a conference, they worked at Enterprise for a couple of years right out of university.

If you do go and interview with them, I would be interested in hearing what their training program is like. They must be investing a fair amount of time and money to peak the interest of HR groups in other, unrelated industries.

If you can stick it out for a few years making crap and working long hours, and putting up with the ridiculous general public then you will make some good coin. (once you hit the AM/Branch Manager positions you get commission on car sales etc) The Branch Managers, Area Managers make good money 100+ easy. (its not like avis, budget etc)
You wont get a car until you hit the Branch Manager or maybe AM though.

IIRC, these positions are for training individuals to manage a location.

^^ that is absolutely correct. I will also say they have a huge, huge employee turn-over rate.
