Some tickets go on sale 10am tomorrow, just wondering if anyone is going.

I'm on the fence about buying tickets since they start at about $330, not sure if I can justify ~$700 for 2 tickets.

where did you get that price from?

edit: just checked ticketmaster, tickets range from $111 to $270

Row 17 and down (I'm in row 15 BTW) are only $160/ticket.

You can't see shit all from anywhere :dunno:

The highest price ticket is $261.45 including gst.

Here is the official Pricing/Seating Map (http://flames.nhl.com/club/page.htm?id=65511)

I just don't get the appeal of the outdoor games. Not going.

Haha well there is a reason that hockey games are indoors. I guess it could be too warm, and you probably can't see that much, but still. It's a nostalgic thing, and it doesn't happen very often so people want to be part of it.

I'm probably going to be out of town, but I'll watch when it's on. I had originally heard tickets would be fucking retardedly expensive as well. Nice to hear they're not that expensive.

Due to obstructions, the higher the seat, the more expensive it will be. Tickets will be EXTREMELY limited. Season ticket holders for flames get seats, and I don't know of any that would pass up on that option. Season ticket holders for Habs can enter a lottery if they want to make the trip out west. Then there are media/corporate seats.

That leaves very few seats for the general public, you will be lucky to get any seats anywhere.

Crap view points, cold and it is on TV. I watched the Bruins/Wings game on TV last year and it was not great as the cameras are all out of position. Watching it live, even worse.

I am a Habs fan and would rather spend my money on good seats in the SaddestDome. We need a new dome....

I bought 2 tickets yesterday in the presale and they were the $162 seat. Im planning to buy 2 more tomorrow morning and im just going to sell them all, hopefully for a premium.

Pisses me off how expensive tickets are, I'm going to go to a couple games at the dome vs just the heritage classic.

I was looking forward to going to this, but yeah I'm not willing to spend $110x2 for the "worst" seats in the house. When I go to games at the dome I like the $60-80 tickets.

I'm with you there. To watch a last place team play a meaningless game and sit in the freezing cold for 3 hours...rather have my teeth pulled.
Went to a Hitmen game last week. Sat in lower bowl seats ($250+ seats) and it only cost $60 for my whole family. Watched a really fast exciting game, and the whole night cost me under $200. Heritage classic...couldn't pay me enough.

Friend and I got 2 sets for 4. Basically going to sell one set have free seats to see the game... Not bad

I don't think it's going to be as easy to sell tickets for a profit as everyone thinks. I've heard of more people buying just to resell than people wanting to get tickets so they can go.

Hakkola
12-10-2010, 02:13 PM
Yeah I'm not paying anymore than face value, not going to pay some dickbag money because they basically bought my tickets and are holding them hostage.

NHL Rinks are 85ft wide IIRC so judging by this image the bleachers are about 70 ft away from the boards

Hahahaha....that pic looks like it's taken at about row 10. Can you imagine row 1?!!!! All you'll see is 10 helmets skating around. And you won't be able to see a thing in the far corner, same side.

Only 5000 tickets were released this morning, so there should be more that will be released later unless they're reserving them for players/coaches/friends/Habs season ticket holders, etc.

Hey guys.
I guess I got luck and got a pair of tickets for 165$/piece.

Row 19, Section A.

Do you guys think the view wil be any good @ row 19?

I'm thinking in the far corner might be impossible to see much?
