My brother and mom are looking for a good running winter worthy vehicle for less then $2000.00

Must be Automatic transmission and either FWD or AWD/4WD... NO RWD please.

4 cylinder preferrably.

I know this is a little bit out of your price range but it's definitely better then anything you can get for 2000$.

I have a 4x4 ford escape in great shape, that looks and drives very well. fully loaded xlt, power everything, cd, etc. I can let it go for 3000. I know it's a bit more expensive but 1000 can make a big difference. pm if you're interested.
